Goodbye Sophie Mae

My 15 year old cat passed away yesterday. It’s interesting how one get’s used to a soul being around you, even if it is in the form of a little black furry thing.
She was a quirky little cat that kept to herself a lot, but when it was just her and I around, she would demand my attention and want love. She would also demand my attention when she wanted food…hehehe. She wasn’t a dog person, but I think that was because they scared her. Some people might remember her as being anti-social or unfriendly, but deep down she was a snugglie little fur-ball that couldn’t really see well.
Sophie was very much a part of our family, a loved one that will be truly missed.

Awe, sorry to hear about your loss Drea & Paul. Sophie was quite a character that’s for sure. Even though I was one of the 2 that she bit in her lifetime, she was an awesome kitty 🙂
Drea, I am so very sorry about your loss. Sophie Mae is beautiful and I know that you will miss her very much. Our feline friends are so special and we are lucky to have them in our lives. Yeah for pussy cats!!
It is always so painful to say goodbye to those we love, and who have offered us comfort and pure enjoyment, over many years. The little quirks we remember with fondness & delight, are memories we hold dear in our hearts forever. Sophie Mae truly was an independent little soul, affectionate and tender with her own little style, and she was loved by all who knew her.
Her spirit will always be with you, she will walk along side you, and be at your feet as you move through the house, as she adored you. I hope you find comfort in this, and knowing she is happy and at peace.

I loved little Sophie May, she always gave me just enough attention to let me know she liked me. So sorry for your loss Andrea…she was a cute little fur ball!
