There’s No Place Like Home…Or Is There?
While in Saint John, I spent the night at an amazing Bed and Breakfast. It is called Homeport Historic B&B.
From the moment you drive up their driveway, you are welcomed with open arms into their home. The energy of the home I found, was fantastic. It was very laid back and comfortable in every part of the house. It really felt like home for me.
The hosts of the home, Karen and Ralph Holyoke were very nice and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable and looked after. They asked me about my upcoming adventures and pointed out a few great places to see while I was in New Brunswick.
The rooms are large and spacious with big windows to look out from. My room happened to look over the harbor and I had a wonderful breeze coming in throughout the afternoon. They are impeccably clean and have great amenities. The rates are reasonable too!
Breakfast was wonderful, with many different options for everyone. The hot meal they served was a special treat for me, we had Belgian Waffles with strawberries and cream! Yum! 🙂 They had a variety of cereals, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit and many beverage options
If you are in the Saint John area, definitely consider going to this Bed and Breakfast, you will be more than pleased with your stay there.
Enjoy the pictures I’ve posted! You can also view more pictures and read more detail at Homeport Historic B&B.
