Home Sweet Home

I’ve been home in British Columbia now for about a month now and been keeping myself busy will all sorts of things.  I had told everyone that I would be returning mid May, but it was a bit of a rouse so that I could surprise my family with an early return.  It was a success!

I had decided back in February that I would be returning home in April and started planning with my sister the best way to surprise the rest of my family, especially my Mom as she had been really missing me.  We came up with a plan for me to walk in on everyone at Easter dinner on the Sunday of the weekend.  It was perfect!  I was going to just show up and walk through the front door like I had never left.  Fun! 🙂

I arrived home a week prior and attempted to hide out for the remainder of the week so that I wouldn’t accidentally run into anyone I knew.  Easier said than done!  If you ask my husband, he will tell you that I have this uncanny ability to run into people I know everywhere I go, even if it is out of town!  On the other side of the coin, I also wanted to see everyone as I was excited to be back!  There were many phone calls throughout the week from my sister sternly telling me to stay home and not let anyone see me or visit anyone.  I had been visiting my husband’s family and surprising them with my return.  I have to admit, it’s quite fun to just show up somewhere and see the look on someone’s face when they aren’t expecting you to be there.  It’s a look of shock and surprise followed up by joy and sometimes tears of happiness.  Much fun!

So…as the week progressed and the Sunday dinner date became closer, the anxiety levels coming from my sister started to increase.  On the Friday, I had psychically felt that my Mom was planning on coming out to my place to visit my husband on either the Friday or Saturday.  So I had called my sister and told her to distract my Mom so that she wouldn’t come out here.  I later asked my Mom about it, and found out that I was right…she was thinking of stopping by on the Saturday.

All was going well…so far I hadn’t run into anyone (especially my parents) accidentally!  I had a few groceries to get, so I had decided to run to the store quickly early Saturday morning.  As I’m walking through the grocery store and I come around the corner into an isle and my heart jumps into my throat!  Who do I see?  It’s one of my Mom’s closest friend’s!  I think I swore in my head (maybe out loud too) a couple of times and proceeded to walk up to her.  She hadn’t quite seen me and I thought about leaving my cart and running out of the store, but the thought of surprising her right in the store took over any better judgment I had.  I also knew that my sister was going to be soooo mad when she found out!  The surprised look on my Aunt’s face was well worth any wrath I would receive from my sister!  She was very surprised to see me there and glad that I was back.  I swore her to secrecy as I told her the plan we had to surprise my Mom the next day.  I pretty much stayed home in hiding until dinner the next evening.  🙂

Surprising my parents was quite fun.  As we were walking in, my Dad was headed up the stairs and he was quite shocked to see me there.  He just stared in disbelief for a minute and was really happy to see me when he realized who I was.  My Mom was much the same when she saw me.  The plan had worked perfectly.  My sister was very relieved!  🙂  It was a great homecoming!

I’ve been working on setting up a space in my house to give the option to see people in person for psychic readings and Reiki sessions which seems to be working out well.  I have implemented a new scheduling system, which I will go into detail in another post.  I will be implementing a variety of services to help people with becoming closer to who they truly are and help them find their life path.  It’s very exciting!

I will be adding to my healing services with a new type of healing modality which will complement and add a new dynamic to the healing sessions I am offering.

More info coming soon!

Yes, you are right! I loved seeing the delight on people’s faces when they saw me. I was excited and happy to see them and I enjoyed the exchange of energy each time I surprised someone. 🙂
